Processor: Anything for gaming bought in the past 2 or 3 years.Taken from Steam, below are the minimum and recommended system specs to run Drifting Lands: The graphics are pretty good despite of its relatively small file size. You can play this even on an entry-level laptop or desktop. Graphics and Visual Styleīefore anything else, for those who use ultrawide displays, the game doesn’t fully support the 21:9 aspect ratio so black bars will be seen on both sides of the screen.ĭrifting Lands is a system-friendly game. Button mappings are easy to understand and beginner-friendly as well. If you don’t have a game pad, you can either use mouse for movement and keyboard for shooting or you can use keyboard alone for both. I just wish they included the option to use the gamepad to navigate the main menu, accessing the ship profiles, and selecting your mission. The game is best played with a gamepad for easy navigation of the ship. There are also special abilities you can use to aid you on your missions. Also, credits are earned during and after each mission that you can use to upgrade your stats and purchase new items to make your ship much stronger. You can also rename your ship to something cool. You can also customize your ship in the Command Center with other weapons, armor, and shields. Then on the other end of the spectrum is the Sentinel, tougher than both the Interceptor and Marauder but moves slower and does the least damage. The Marauder is more balanced with its average speed, firepower, and armor. The Interceptor is fast and dishes out damage fairly well but it has thin armor so you take more damage yourself. Pre-Flight Checklistīefore you take flight in Drifting Lands, you must first choose your ship from the three available optons – Interceptor, Marauder, and Sentinel. While Normal Mode is fairly easy, Forgiving Mode is far from it. Before you start the game, you have two choices for difficulty – Normal and Forgiving Mode. Want to report bugs, ask the team what is planned for this or that, suggest ideas or improvements, know what we're up to for the next update. The Command Center is where you get to select missions and side missions, although every mission runs pretty much the same aside from the difficulty of each as you progress further. But if you want to shine, you’ll have to be smart in the selection of your special powers and how you create synergies with your equipment! You enjoy the progressive design of a powerfull build through skills and inventory optimization ?Your class will offer more resistant ships, able to put up with a lot more impacts. You’re a super player of bullet hells and don’t mind dying on the first few impacts ?You’ll find a perfect class for you with high-damages / low-resistances interceptors. Not your usual bland heroic fantasy universeĭrifting Lands is designed to meet both shmup and hack & slash enthusiasts’ expectations. With the choice of your class, you’ll have the opportunity to take control of different ships, best suited to your favorite gameplay style.3 classes of ships for different profiles of players.a complex item generation system with a lot of stat modifiers to optimize, unique items with "game changer" powers.70 active and passive powers with various effects: dash, area of effect attacks, time control, etc.100 levels of difficulty to climb with your skill or your ability to optimize your gear and powers.randomy generated missions for replayability. Then and only then a different kind of shoot'em'up, accessible to a wider audience than usual. That's what is Drifting Lands in essence: first and foremost an action-RPG (Hack'n'Slash or however you may call this). About This Game Imagine a Diablo-like game with the mouse clicking part replaced by an horizontal shoot'em'up core gameplay.
